ASP Longboard Chaplain
ASP Longboard Chaplain
Chaplaincy is a great way of assisting the wider surfing community by serving the worlds elite. These surfers are away from family and friends and have real world problems trials and issues just like the rest of us. They have to maintain and balance this with the demands of a professional sports career and the rigours of competition; often a long way from home and support. As Chaplain is assist where possible with a listening ear and support on the ground. I am available to surfers and ASP staff as well as contest officials etc. The Chaplain is an independent objective listening ear and safe place to address needs and vent frustrations.
I am able to give spiritual and life advice; I have assisted in marking the passing of surfers via memorial services and have performed a marriage.
I also serve the surfers via use of my photographic skills taking photo’s for them to use for sponsorship and blogs etc.
